Muskegon Catholic Central rolled past Muskegon Heights Academy with a 69-17 win to kick off its girls basketball season.

The Crusaders led 37-14 at half and held the Tigers scoreless in the third quarter.

Tootie Thompson paced MCC with 17 points, Zee Harris had 10 points and 13 rebounds and Janae Coon chipped in 10 points. Natalie Bertolone led defensively with 10 rebounds and six steals.

Momo Neal scored nine points and had eight assists and Toya Briggs had six assists.

Frendreka Watkins-Oliver led the Tigers with six points and Danasia Day scored four.
