Hesperia overcame a rough start to beat White Cloud 45-29 in a CSAA girls basketball matchup. The Panthers defense held the Indians to just eight second half points in the win.

White Cloud kept Hesperia down to just five first quarter points and led 21-18 at halftime.

Robin Golden and Lauren Zeerip helped turn around the slow start for Hesperia. Golden finished with 14 points and Zeerip followed with 13 points.

Mariah Still added six points Hesperia points and Desaray Tracy chipped in five.

Rachel Weaver led White Cloud with 10 points and Paige Foster put in five.
