Krystal Geers leads the Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team to win over Lansing CC

Krystal Geers scored 37 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team beat Lansing Community College 77-58 on Monday night.

Muskegon CC closed the half with an 8-2 run to lead 31-25 and then got its offense rolling to score 46 second-half points.

MCC outrebounded Lansing by its widest margin of the season 54-32.

Sonnie Kurnat had 10 first half points and finished with 13 points. Taylor Brown dished out seven assists and Katie McKinnon had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for MCC.
