The Spring Lake girls basketball team led by seven points after three quarters, then held Fruitport to just five points in the fourth to claim a 51-30 victory in a key Lakes 8 Confernce matchup

Kelsee Zuidema scored a game-high 17 points for Spring Lake while Reiko Johnson added 10 points and Remington French chipped in seven. Fruitport was led by Alyssa Veihl with 10 points while Katie Veihl added eight points.

Orchard View 64, Fremont 37 – Jayshonna Blackshire had a big game with 26 points and five assists to lead the Cardinals. A’miya Brown scored 19 points while Jannaya Ferrle added  eights points and eight rebounds. Lexie Bradley paced the Packers with 19 points.

Ludington 64, Muskegon Catholic 23 – Ludington improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference. Jenna Keson led the Orioles with 14 points on the night. Kalli Wahr added 12 points and Madilyn Shank had 11. Hailee McKenna and Tae Robertson each had seven points for the Crusaders, who dropped to 0-2 overall.
