The Sailors jumped out to a 1-0 lead on an RBI single by Austin Flowers in the first inning.

Montague tied the game 1-1 in the second inning.

Mona Shores added two runs in the sixth inning. Hunter Broersma scored on a fielder’s choice and Nick Debruin hit an RBI sacrifice fly that scored Tyler Trovinger.

Brenden Freeman pitched the win for the Sailors, allowing one unearned run in seven innings.

Mona Shores is now 8-3 on the season.
