The Mona Shores boys soccer team’s strong second half propelled the Sailors over Muskegon 6-0 on Thursday night in an O-K Black Conference game.
The Sailors led 1-0 at halftime before scoring the final five goals of the contest in the second half.
George Deveau paced Mona Shores with two goals while Bryce Stone chipped in with a goal and an assist. Kevin Quigg, Connor Roman and Miller VanderMolen each added a goal for the Sailors.
Mona Shores’ goalkeepers Rocky Simonelli and Justin McPherson combined for a shutout win.
