Jermayne Golidy dropped in 31 points in the Muskegon Big Reds’ 70-56 win over host Ypsilanti on Saturday in varsity basketball. 

Golidy drained four 3-pointers and shot a sizzling 10-for-17 from the floor to lead Muskegon. The senior forward also put up four assists, six rebounds and had a pair of steals.

Undefeated Muskegon (15-0) built a 57-43 lead with a 24-point third quarter outburst. The Big Reds trailed 16-13 after the first quarter but climbed to a 33-31 halftime lead.

Sam Cornett, Jr. and Markell Jackson both produced double-doubles for Muskegon. Cornett finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds while Jackson tallied 12 points,10 rebounds and had a pair of blocks.

Anthony Bethea III finished with nine points while Willie Shanks had four assists for Muskegon.
