Oakridge advanced past Fruitport in Monday’s Class B girls basketball district opener at Orchard View. The win advances the Eagles into Wednesday’s 6 p.m. district semifinal with Spring Lake.
The Eagles cruised to a 49-14 win as Sophia Wiard led the way with 24 points and seven steals. Aaliyah Cooper also had a big night with 19 points and eight rebounds.
