The Kent City girl’s basketball team plowed its way past Beaverton 61-39 on Tuesday in a Class C regional semifinal game at Morley-Stanwood High School.

The Eagles led 28-16 at halftime, then sealed things up with a 21-9 advantage in the third quarter.

Kenzie Bowers poured in a career-high 37 points for Kent City. Zara Weber added 10 points for the winners.

The Eagles, now 21-3, will play Mason County Central in the regional finals on Thursday at 7 p.m.
