The Fruitport Calvary Christian girls soccer team defeated Montague Friday night by a score of 5-1 in non-league play.

Emily May opened up the game with an unassisted goal for the Eagles beforeEmily Wesner put Fruitport Calvary Christian up 2-0 with a feed from Bree Johnson.

Montague scored a goal as the first half came to an end, giving the Eagles a 2-1 halftime advantage.

Wesner opened up the second half scoring on a pass from Alex Assaad to give the Eagles a 3-1 advantage.

Johnson scored the last two goals with assists coming from May and Wesner.

Fruitport Calvary’s goalkeeper Reagan Payton notched five saves on the win.

The Eagles are now 10-4-2 on the season and 6-2-1 in league play.
