The Shelby girls soccer team ended their season on Saturday with a 3-2 overtime loss against Houghton Lake in the Division 4 district finals.

The game was tied 1-1 at halftime after a goal from Amy England with three minutes left in the first half.

Shelby, which fell behind 2-1 early in the second half, tied the score at 2-2 on a goal from Kim Hernandez with five minutes left in regulation.

Houghton Lake won the contest with a goal two minutes into the second overtime on a tally from Sarah Barnes, who score all three goals.

The Tigers finished their season with a 12-7-1 record.
