The Whitehall Vikings turned up the defensive pressure on Thursday night in a 57-23 victory over the Hart Pirates.
Whitehall led 36-15 at the half thanks to a 23-9 scoring advantage in the second quarter. In the third quarter, the Vikings scored just five points, but the Pirates did not score at all.
Matt Rohen led Whitehall (1-1) with 11 points. Isaac Love added nine.
James Freeman led Hart with five points.
