Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team routs Ancilla

Five players scored in double figures on Wednesday night as the Muskegon Community College Lady Jayhawks whipped host Ancilla 73-44.

Sonnie Kurnat finished with 13 points, followed by Lindsey Burnside with 12 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks, Sabri Carter-Latin with 12 points and Teareya Hill and Alex Torres with 11 points each.

“We had good ball movement and we were able to attack the middle which was the keys to our success,” MCC coach Ron Jenkins said. “We are beginning to play consistently on both ends of the court.”
