ORCHARD VIEW GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM BEATS GRANT IN LAKES 8 CONFERENCE GAME

Orchard View survived a late Grant rally to earn a 44-40 Lakes 8 Conference win over host Grant on Wednesday night.

The Cardinals led 10-4 after one quarter and 21-15 at halftime, but theTigers rallied outscoring OV 25-23 in the second half.

Diamond McGee and Jayshonna Blackshire both scored 13 points each for OV.

Blackshire added seven assists and Hill had five blocks for the Cardinals.

Dayle Wood led the Tigers with 17 points and 16 rebounds, Dayna Wood scored 11 points and Kaycee Fahlen had five assists.
