Muskegon Lumberjack goaltender Kevin Lindskoug was named the game’s No. 1 star for good reason.

He made 52 saves on Friday night in the Jacks’ 3-1 victory over Team USA’s U-18 team.

Lindskoug stopped all 20 shots he faced in the opening period as the Jacks took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Joe Cox.

Team USA tied the game in the second period to the game at 1-all.

In the final period, the Jacks received goals by Jeff Kubiak and Cox to grab the victory. Chad McDonald and Riley Alferd assisted on Kubiak’s goal and Cullen Hurley and Mason Jobst drew assists on Cox’s second goal.

Muskegon was outshot 53-22.
