Kelsey Gensler scored a hat trick as Whitehall downed Ravenna 7-1 in girls soccer action on Monday.

Whitehall jumped out early by getting a goal from Miranda Jacobs just 47 seconds into the contest off a pass from Morgan Kellis.

“The last couple of games have really gelled our girls,” said Whitehall coach Dan Nichols. “Their passing and possession have been sharp and we have been putting more pressure on the offensive end.”

The Vikings led 5-1 at half.

Ravenna’s lone goal came off a penalty kick from Audrey Hanson.

Whitehall’s Sarah Schmiedeknecht tallied two goals and an assist and Morgen Meyers had a goal and an assist.

Jordan Loudermilk had a pair of assists and Jessica Friend added an assist for Whitehall.
