Spring Lake and Reeths-Puffer split a pair of nonleague baseball games on Monday.

Spring Lake won the opener 15-5 and Reeths-Puffer claimed Game 2 12-7.

In the opener, Parker Richardson had two hits while Jacob Boes, JJ Covington,Tyler Moss, Trevor Mosher and Jacob Balkema each had one for the Rockets.

The Rockets sealed the Game 2 victory on a long home run by Jake Wagenmaker in the second inning. He finished with three hits and three RBI. He singled in the first and fourth innings before his home run in the seventh. Brett Boes was the winning pitcher. He struck out five, allowed 11 hits and allowed no walks.

Richardson and Covington were credited with strong defensive plays in that game.
