Reeths-Puffer and Spring Lake squared off Monday night in boys soccer, and no one came away from the match feeling like much was decided.

Reeths-Puffer got on the board first but Lakers answered soon after, leading to a 1-1 draw in non-league action.

The Rockets’ Tyler Brown got his team on the board first, finding the back of the net with just five minutes elapsed on the clock.

But, 15 minutes later,  the Lakers’  Nic Ellingboe sent a deflected  corner kick past Rocket goalkeeper Thomas Swiatek.

From there, both defenses went into lockdown mode, and the match remained a 1-1 tie for the rest of the way, although both squads failed to convert several scoring opportunities.
