Fruitport Calvary Christian trounces Holland Calvary as Brianna Zehr now tops in assists

Fruitport Calvary Christian’s Brainna Zehr set the new school record for most career assists in her team’s 64-26 win over Holland Calvary on Friday. Zehr had eight assists in the victory and now stands at 299 career assists.

The Eagles jumped out quickly and scored 25 points in the second quarter and led 42-8 by half.

Continuing to be a massive problem for area girls basketball teams are the Richards sisters from FCC, Taylor and Allyson. The junior Taylor scored 19 points and had 13 rebounds and six steals. Allyson (freshman) put up 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Zehr approached a double double to finish with nine points and Sophia Zelenka added six points for the Eagles.
