Mona Shores tennis team wins five matches at regionals, falls short of qualifying for state

The Mona Shores girls tennis team wrapped up its season by finishing 8th in a 12-team field at last week’s Division 1 regionals at Holland High School.

Winning first round matches for the Sailors were Sophie Gossett (No. 2 singles), Madison Hronek (No. 3 singles), Bella Purosky (No 4 singles), Bri Holtrop and Kay Chandonett (No. 2 doubles) and Maddie Myhre and Marissa Duff (No. 4 doubles).
