Mona Shores beats Muskegon 6-3, clinches third-straight O-K Black soccer title

Mona Shores clinched its third straight O-K Black soccer title Thursday with a 6-3 victory over Muskegon on its home field

The Sailors tallied five second half goals after falling behind 2-1 at halftime.

Jake DeRemer led with a pair of goals and an assist while Nate Hoover posted  two assists and a goal in the Sailor effort. Ryan Sustrich added a goal and an assist and Eric Conley and Kevin Quigg each scored goals.

Muskegon’s Miguel Flores, Angelo Hernandez and Daniel Sischo each scored goals while Scot Villanueva had an assist.
