The hitters on the Grand Haven softball team were obviously eager to get the season going.
They combined for 22 hits Wednesday, pacing the Bucs to a 15-0 and 11-0 doubleheader sweep of Holland.
Kylie Masko led the attack by going 5-for-6 at the plate with three stolen bases, five runs scored and four RBIs. Jordan Buckingham pounded out four hits, including two triples and a double, while gathering six RBIs for the day.
Other multi-hits came from the bats of Morgan Hill, Kaylee Hartwell, Mikayla Gronbach and Yogi Hang.
Defensive standouts included Pita Messer, Hang, and Hill.
