The Muskegon Community College baseball team split a doubleheader with Delta College on Saturday, winning 6-3 in Game 1 and losing 6-5 in the nightcap.
MCC pitcher Kyle Vedrode picked up the win in the opener, throwing a complete game while scattering five hits.
Jake Wagenmaker, Aaron Gilbert and Mitchell Reyes each had RBIs for MCC.
Rhett Holwerda took the loss for the Jayhawks in the second game. Dylan Brown hit two doubles and knocked in one run for MCC.
The Jayhawks are now 21-13 overall and 12-6 in conference play.
