Harley Hubers struck first for WMC, scoring off a soft drop pass from Jessica Kinnucan. Hubers was able to one-touch the Kinnucan pass over the Charger’s goalie.
WMC captured its second and final lead of the game on a Mikaela Erickson shot that found the inside post of the Charger goal through traffic in front of the net.
Riley Stuk performed well in goal for WMC, filling in for senior standout Lindsey Johnson.
“We are injured, sick and lacking depth on the bench right now, but we played really well tonight,” said WMC Coach Dave Hulings.
