North Muskegon swept Western Michigan Christian in its baseball doubleheader 6-5 and 12-1 on Thursday. The Norse broke a 5-5 tie in the sixth inning to sneak out the Game 1 win.
Connor Gannon scored the game winning run off an Erick Bleakley sacrifice fly to lift North Muskegon. Gannon finished with three singles and three runs while Riley Draper had two singles.
Cam Waller led WMC with two RBIs.
In Game 2, Ben Garcia pitched four shutout innings in the Norse win.
Joe Osborn and Bleakley each had three hits while Alex Slocum and Garcia added two hits apiece.
