The Muskegon Community College volleyball team was victorious against Lake Michigan College in straight sets (25-20, 25-22, 25-10) Wednesday night.
The Jayhawks were led by Jane Kuipers and Rachel Brown, who had 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Lindsey Jacobs led the team with 34 assists and also had two blocks.
Veronica Booth chipped in 17 digs for the Jayhawks.
MCC is now 19-12 on the season, including a 9-2 record in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association. The Jayhawk’s next game will be Oct. 27th at Lansing.
