The Mason County Central boys basketball team used a late run to complete a 61-53 victory over Montague in a West Michigan Conference game on Thursday night.
The game remained close until the fourth quarter, when the Spartans gained an edge by outscoring the Wildcats 21-15.
Ryan Mounts led Mason County Central with 15 points while Mitch Lange added 14.
The Wildcats (5-3, 2-3) were led by Jacob Buchberger, who had a game-high 16 points and seven rebounds. Josh Weesies added 13 points for Montague.
