The Montague girls basketball team had no problems rebounding from a 21-day layoff as the Wildcats defeated Mason County Central 47-33 in a West Michigan
Conference game on Thursday night.
The Wildcats, who are now 5-2 on the season and 3-2 in league play, outscored the Spartans 26-9 during the second half.
Sydney Stine led the Wildcats with 14 points while Emma Flagstead added 10 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks.
The Spartans were led by Dria Striker with 14 points.
Final score was 45-33 Montague
