Montague softball team scores 25 runs in doubleheader sweep against Ravenna

The Montague softball team swept Ravenna in a West Michigan Conference doubleheader, 4-1 and 21-8, on Tuesday night.

In Game 1, Brandi Rice led the Wildcats with three hits and an RBI while Hannah Smith chipped in with two runs scored.

Montague’s pitcher Courteney Lohman picked up the win striking out five batters.

In Game 2, Allyssa Bobian paced Montague with a double, triple and five RBIs while Chase Jancek added four hits and four RBIs.

Lohman pitched the win for the Wildcats in the nightcap.
