The Oakridge softball team continued its impressive season with a dominating sweep of Shelby, 17-1 and 18-3, in a West Michigan Conference doubleheader on Tuesday.LSJ Logo incert

The Eagles improved to 15-0 on the season and 8-0 in league play.

In Game 1, Sophia Wiard led Oakridge with four hits, while Kayla Fessenden added three hits and four RBIs. Alessa Buchner chipped in with three hits.

In Game 2, the Eagles were led by Hannah Reinhold with four hits while Miranda Vandervort and Fessenden added two hits.

Fessenden pitched the win for Oakridge, striking out 12 batters in seven innings.
