The Western Michigan Christian and North Muskegon baseball teams split a doubleheader on Thursday.
The Warriors beat North Muskegon 11-6 in the opening game, the Norsemen responded with a 5-1 nightcap victory.
In Game 1, the Warriors took advantage of 10 walks and four Norsemen errors to pick up the win.
North Muskegon was led in a losing effort by Erick Bleakley with two hits and four RBIs, including a two-run homer. Tommy Gautraud added two hits and two runs.
In Game 2, Norsemen pitchers’ Brighton Schofield and Ryan Kenny threw a combined one-hitter the Warriors.
Kenny pitched the victory for North Muskegon.
Bleakley paced the Norse with a two-run triple, while Gautraud and Schofield each added a double apiece.
