The Muskegon Community College volleyball team posted a strong 4-1 record over the weekend at the Raider Invitational at Grand Rapids Community College.
The Jayhawks fell to Schoolcraft Community College 3-0, then beat Cuiyahoga Community College 3-0, Oakland Community College 3-1, Macomb Community College 3-1 and St. Clair Community College 3-1.
Rachel Brown and Ashly Schuitema led MCC with 69 and 61 kills in the tournament, respectively.
Lindsey Jacobs had 202 assists, Sammi Hockstra served 14 aces, Marissa Hassevoort chipped in 90 digs and Brown had two blocks.
The Jayhawks are 19-9 on the season.
