De’Quarius Cooper had a huge night on Tuesday, scoring 35 points and grabbing 20 rebounds to lead Mona Shores past Muskegon Catholic 78-58 in a non-league basketball matchup.
The Sailors grabbed a 23-13 lead after one quarter, led 38-27 at halftime and 54-45 at the third buzzer, before sealing the victory by outscoring the Crusaders 24-13 in the fourth.
Freshman Jarvis Walker contributed 16 points for Mona Shores while KP Piggue scored 14.
Nick Morgenstern tallied 20 points for Muskegon Catholic while LaTommy Scott paced Muskegon Catholic with eight points.
