The Hart and Grant softball teams split a doubleheader on Thursday in non-league action.
The Pirates took the opener 6-2, while Grant took the nightcap by a score of 10-4.
Hart got a strong performance from Ali Altland in Game 1 on the mound. Altland struck out eight and only gave up one hit.
Allison Tiles, Kasey Unger, Sam Witteveen, Makenzi Michalko, and Altland each had hits for the Pirates.
Michalko had two hits to pace Hart in Game 2.
