Flowers gets four hits, including three doubles, in Sailors’ 12-2 win over Spring Lake

Austin Flowers had four hits, including three doubles, to lead the Mona Shores baseball team to a big 12-2 non-league victory over Spring Lake on Wednesday.

Caden Anderson also had four hits for the Sailors, including a two-run homer. Ryan Gillings added two hits and three RBIs in his first varsity game.

Pitcher Nick Debruin got the win, allowing only one hit over 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Keyser had a hit and two RBIs for Spring Lake while Austin Shubert had a hit and scored a run.

Mona Shores improved to 9-7 on the season.
