The Hart softball team poured out 33 total runs on Thursday in a doubleheader sweep against the Pentwater.

The Pirates blanked Pentwater 29-0 in the opening game, then cruised to a 14-3 victory in the nightcap.

In Game 1 Hart was led by Kari Merten, Nicole Rockwell, Kasey Unger and Sam Witteveen with four hits apiece.

Ali Altland tossed the victory for the Pirates, pitching three hitless innings while striking out all nine batters faced.

In Game 2 Witteveen and Mackenzi Michalko each had two hits to lead the Pirates.
