The Whitehall softball team swept North Muskegon 14-5 and 18-3 in West Michigan Conference play on Thursday.
In Game 1, Katelyn Goodrich went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs. Jess Uganski added three doubles and Allison Shaffer had a double and solo home run. Shaffer also came into the game as a relief pitcher in the fifth inning and struck out five.
In Game 2, Shaffer picked up another win on the mound and hit her second homer. Madison Bonds had three hits and four RBIs while Emily Martin added two hits.
Whitehall improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
