The Hart softball team swept its doubleheader on Tuesday against Mason County Central in West Michigan Conference play.
The Pirates won the opening game by an 11-0 margin, then blanked the Spartans 4-0 in the nightcap.

Hart was paced offensively by Nicole Rockwell with five RBIs while Altland added two. Kari Merten and Hailey Westerbeek each chipped in with two hits apiece.
The Pirates were led by Altland and Kari Merten with two hits each in Game 2 while Kasey Unger and Sam Witteveen added a single each.
Altland tossed another victory, allowing five hits while striking out five batters.
