The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team came away with a 51-45 win over Mona Shores in a tightly contested O-K Black game on Tuesday.
The Rockets trailed 37-35 after three quarters, but went on 9-0 run to open the fourth and take a 44-37 lead.
Mona Shores cut the lead to two points on a basket from Nia Miskel with 1:10 remaining, but the Rockets went 4-for-4 at the foul line in the final minute to close out the win.
The Rockets led 5-4 after one quarter and 20-17 at the half.
Lauren Ross led R-P with 21 points, including 14 in the second half. Emily Caltagrione scored 16 points, with 13 coming after halftime. Trina Lewis added eight points.
Leading Mona Shores was Ryleigh Wehler with 13 points. Miskel netted 11, all in the second half. Riley Rosenthal scored eight for the Sailors.
