Oakridge girls soccer squad scores nine goals, pounds Hart in league game

McKenzie Swarts’ four-goal performance propelled Oakridge over Hart 9-1 on Friday in a West Michigan Conference girls soccer game.

The Eagles jumped out to a 4-0 advantage at halftime.

Oakridge was also paced by Alexis Florez with three goals and three assists while Lizzi Tilford and Andi Cartwright added a goal.

Camri Florez contributed with two assists for the Eagles, who improved to 2-2-1 on the season and 2-0 in league play.

Brooke Ruel stopped four shots in net for Oakridge.
