The Reeths-Puffer boys soccer team split their games at the Fruitport Invitational on Saturday, falling to Ludington 5-1 but defeating Shelby 3-2.

In the first game, Brad Stephenson had the lone Rockets goal while DaMario Chapman had nine saves in the game.

Against Shelby, the Rockets fell behind 2-0 before Aidan McHugh and Jaxon Carpenter each scored for the Rockets to tie the game at 2-2.

With four minutes to play, Preston Carpenter found the back of the net off an assist from brother Jaxon Carpenter to give the Rockets a 3-2 victory. Chapman had two saves in the game.
