The North Muskegon volleyball squad captured a Division 3 district title, defeating Saugatuck in three straight sets on Thursday night.

The Norse won by service scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-10.

Syann Fairfield paced North Muskegon with 11 kills while Mackenzie Fris added nine kills and 13 aces.

The Norse was led defensively by Kendal Hoppa with 11 digs.

North Muskegon will face the winner of Saranac and Pewamo-Westphalia on Tuesday in the regional semifinals at Kent City High School.
