Montague takes down Orchard View in WMC volleyball match

MONTAGUE – The Montague volleyball team claimed a WMC-Lakes victory over Orchard View on Tuesday.

The Wildcats topped the Cardinals in three sets, 25-12, 25-13 and 25-12.

Gentry Knopp had 10 aces and two digs followed by Alissa Wynn with seven aces and five digs. Joli Arrigotti chipped in four aces with two kills and Emalee McGee added 13 assets, three digs and an ace.

Montague (7-9-2, 1-1) is set to travel to the Cadillac Invitational on Saturday.

Orchard View will be at Holton on Saturday.
