The Mona Shores softball team fell 4-0 and 7-2 to Hudsonville on Wednesday in non-conference action.

Madison Mettier and Madison Van Etten each had hits to lead the Sailor offense while Lauryn Patterson struck out four and didn’t allow an earned run.

In Game 2, Van Etten struck out eight on the mound while Zoie Willeke and Bailey Graham each had two hits for the Sailors.

Mona Shores is now 3-3 overall and remains 2-0 in OK-Black conference play.

RAVENNA 18, NORTH MUSKEGON 9 – The Ravenna softball team defeated North Muskegon 18-9 in Game 1 and led 17-8 in Game 2 before being postponed due to darkness.

In Game 1, Laney Mabrito led the Bulldogs with four hits including two doubles while Makayla Hogan went 3-for-5 with a three run home run. Zoe Spoelman also had three hits for Ravenna.

North Muskegon was led by Isabella Mallory who had two hits.
