Tuesday volleyball roundup continued: Fremont wins a five set thriller

The Fremont volleyball team won a five set thriller on Tuesday night, defeating Central Montcalm 25-21, 14-25, 25-27, 26-24 and 15-10.

Calla Miller had 17 assists to lead Fremont and Carle Bruggema had 16 assists.

Rhi Pafford finished with 18 kills while teammate Natalie Jamieson added 12 kills. Kennedy Christoffersen led with 30 digs while Kaitlynn Bennett had 21 digs.

Fremont is now 2-1 in conference play.

REETHS PUFFER 3, MUSKEGON 0 – The Reeths-Puffer volleyball team won their OK-Black Conference matchup via scores of 25-14, 25-8 and 25-7.

Kenna Grant paced the Rockets with 11 digs, 10 assists and nine aces while Brianna Stawski added 10 kills, five aces and four blocks.

Reeths-Puffer is now 4-8 overall on the season and 1-2 in conference play.
