Whitehall struggles in volleyball quad-match, drops all three contests on Thursday

The Whitehall volleyball squad dropped all three of its matches on Thursday night.

The Vikings fell short against Caledonia (16-25, 16-25), Zeeland East (22-25, 27-25, 18-20) and Coopersville (17-25, 15-25).

Rayne Thompson paced Whitehall with 17 kills and 15 digs, while Rileigh Thommen added 11 kills.

The Vikings were led defensively by Charlie Baker with 18 digs and Jaden Mikkelson chipped in with 30 assists. Maggie Evans contributed with 20 assists and 12 digs.
