The Reeths-Puffer baseball team grabbed an 8-5 victory over Muskegon Thursday at Marsh Field in a game that featured five lead changes.

The Rockets (14-12) sealed the win with three runs in the seventh inning.

Brody Vanderlinde racked up three hits and two RBIs for R-P. Ben Petrick and Tyler Moss both had two hits.

Cole Aerts earned his first varsity win on the mound for the Rockets, striking out nine in four innings. Collin Houseman got the save.

Center fielder Jacob Boes played a key role defensively, recording all three outs in the fifth inning. He threw out a runner at home plate and made a diving catch that resulted in a Muskegon runner being doubled off first base.
