Tigers 13, Twins 1 – The Tigers took the rubber game of the three-game series, scoring a season-high 13 runs.
Miguel Cabrera hit two home runs and had five RBIs while Bryan Holaday hadĀ a double, home run, and three RBIs in his season debut.
Anibal Sanchez pitched eight innings, allowed one run on five hits, while striking out nine.
Detroit will take a short three-game road trip over the weekend to play the St. Louis Cardinals.
