The Hesperia volleyball team will have a shot at winning back-to-back district championships after a 3-0 victory over Mason County Central in the semifinals on Wednesday night.

Hesperia won by set scores of 25-4, 25-16, 25-16.

Emily Bayle led the Panthers offensively with 10 kills and five aces. Rachel Romero contributed eight kills and three aces, Delaney Yates had five kills and two aces, while Isabelle Rumsey chipped in with four kills and three aces.

For the Spartans, Hailey Jackson led the way with five kills, two blocks, and an ace. Jenna Smith had six assists, along with five digs to pace the defensive effort.

The Panthers (38-11-1) will play Shelby for a district championship on Thursday.
