The Oakridge girls basketball team won a statement game on Friday night, defeating Shelby 61-53.

After one quarter, Oakridge trailed 19-13 before also trailing 28-23 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Oakridge started the comeback and eventually took a 40-38 lead after three quarters of play.

Leah Lowry had a double-double for Oakridge, finishing with 25 points and 10 rebounds while Macy Whipple added 13 points.

HART 44, RAVENNA 20 – The Pirates dominated the game on Friday, leading 13-5 after one quarter and 26-8 at haftime.

Nicole Rockwell paced the Pirates with 15 points while Jayd Hovey added 12 points, seven assists and five steals in the win.

Hart is now 14-1 overall and 9-1 in conference play.

WHITEHALL 58, NORTH MUSKEGON 39 – Whitehall used a 17-4 third quarter advantage to pick up a conference road victory on Friday.

Karleigh Jeffries paced the Vikings with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Kate Martin added 11 points.

North Muskegon was led by Chandler Falkowski with eight points and 13 rebounds.

Whitehall is now 8-6 overall and 7-3 in Western Michigan Conference play.

MONTAGUE 51, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 25 – The Wildcats cruised past the visiting Spartans Friday night, leading 19-4 in the first and taking a 21-9 advantage into halftime.

Montague had a big third quarter offensively, outscoring Mason County 21-5  to seal the win.

The Wildcats were led by Braquelle Osborne and Emma Flynn with 14 points each while Ally Hall added seven points.

Adria Quigley led the Spartans with nine points.

Montague improves to 11-3 overall and 8-2 in conference play while the Spartans fall to 3-11 overall and 1-9 in conference play.
